My employer's stock price has fallen to 12% of what it was a year ago. I'll be working until I'm 80 - if I'm lucky!

I'm hearing that more and more each day. We had our taxes done today and our accountant lost 50% of his investments last fall. One of my customers lost 40% of his retirement and has no idea if he'll ever retire. My husband and I are enjoying the memories of pissing our own money away instead of the horror of Wall Street making it disappear.
