One Note Samba
Presenting a performance on ukulele of Jobim's One Note Samba by Canadian James Hill, in honor of my good friend, the Whited Sepulchre, who lately has been singing one note on the subject of stimulating the economy.
Enjoy! (Watch the whole thing -- it's pretty amazing!)
Seriously, I stumbled across this while looking for guitar tabs for One Note Samba. First I encountered a cover by DominatorUke, who is no slouch himself, who pointed me over to James Hill.
I love the internet, don't you?

Here's "The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly" as performed by the Ukelele Orchestra of Great Britain.
The main theme is only two notes, which is also admirable.
Missed you at church today. Good discussion.
Me, I'm just sitting back, waiting to see if I can get me some stimulus.
The 17 yr. old had a LAN party at the house last night, which meant they were all up until the sun arose. I stayed up long enough to rewatch The Big Lebowski with everyone, then crashed.
You were missed at the church, and (Just so you'll know) you're missed on my site.
I've gotten one comment and one email asking where you've been.
My schtick only works when you're there disagreeing with everything and propmpting others to come to my defense.
Something about M. Night Shyamalan's movie "Unbreakable" comes to mind.
Brilliant!
Crawl back in your coffin. The sun will be up any minute.
